Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the 'Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva' and 'PM e-Bus Seva', marking a historic beginning towards addressing a gap in public transportation due to discontinuation over the past two decades, particularly affecting remote villages and rural areas.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of Madhya Pradesh on fulfilling the long-standing demand for government buses and launching ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva’ and ‘PM e-Bus Seva’. This service aims to address the gap in public transportation created over the past two decades due to discontinuation of government bus services, which had cut off several remote villages from main roads and limited transport options for people in rural areas, particularly the poor, farmers, and students. The launch of this service was also included in the government’s ‘Sankalp Patra’. The service commenced across the state with 1,500 buses on September 25 and plans to expand to 15,000 buses by 2029, ensuring accessible bus transport facilities for people throughout Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in a post on ‘X’, “We say what we mean and deliver on our promises.” He said that through ‘Mukhyamantri Sugam Parivahan Seva’ and ‘PM e-Bus Seva’, the people of Madhya Pradesh have received a ‘gift of anant happiness’ on the auspicious occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. September 25 marked a historic beginning towards bringing greater ease and convenience to the lives of citizens, particularly those living in remote and rural areas, through accessible public transport.
