
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that Arvind Group will establish industrial units in three locations in Madhya Pradesh, creating employment opportunities and generating tax revenue.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the relationship between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will be further strengthened with the Arvind Group setting up its industrial units in Madhya Pradesh. The discussions on this matter took place between Dr. Yadav and Arvind Limited Vice Chairman Shri Kulin Lalbhai in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The Chief Minister confirmed that the units will be established at Barlai near Dewas, PM MITRA Park in Dhar, and Betma in Indore. The company is also operating in other areas. The expansion of these industrial activities is expected to create more employment opportunities for the youth of Madhya Pradesh.
Arvind Limited has proposed an investment of around ₹1,200 crore in PM MITRA Park, which has been allotted 105 acres of land. Under an agreement with Indore-based Pepcon Private Limited, around 7 million garments are manufactured annually.
Discussions were held on expediting the establishment of the industrial unit and the investment process at PM MITRA Park. The company was apprised of investment incentives available for textile and apparel industries in Madhya Pradesh, including capital subsidy, interest subsidy, reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees, and support for green industrialisation and research and development facilities.
The possibilities of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solutions for water reuse in industrial areas were also discussed. The potential to establish common ZLD systems in textile, pharma, and other industrial clusters across more than 90 industrial parks being developed in Madhya Pradesh was discussed.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav invited Arvind Limited to participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS)-2027.
