
Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, inaugurated the grand Gita Bhavan and announced development plans for religious sites during his visit to Maharshi Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his greetings on Guru Purnima by visiting the Maharshi Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted the Ashram's historical significance as the place where Lord Shri Krishna received education, and praised the knowledge imparted by Guru Sandipani that led to Krishna's status as a Jagatguru. During his visit, Dr. Yadav inaugurated the city's grand Gita Bhavan and urged people to honor their Gurus on this sacred occasion.
In addition to the Gita Bhavan inauguration, Dr. Yadav announced development plans for Ujjain's religious sites. He visited the Charan Paduka shrine of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj at Vrindavan Pura in Ujjain and announced plans to develop the site into a grand spiritual pilgrimage centre.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also offered prayers at the ancient Shri Kundeshwar Mahadev and Shri Sarveshwar Mahadev temples within the Ashram complex. Panchamrit Abhishek and special worship of Lord Shri Krishna, Lord Balaram, and Guru Sandipani were performed in the morning at the Ashram.
Members of the Ashram's chief priest family welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with an Angavastram and a memento.
