Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh led a grand Tricolor Boat Rally at the Boat Club in Bhopal, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign on August 13, 2026. The event aimed to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and unity among citizens.
Under Yadav's leadership, over 50 boats carrying the national flag sailed across Upper Lake, creating a visually stunning sight. The Chief Minister himself led the rally, releasing balloons in the colors of the Tricolor into the sky amidst patriotic songs.
Water sports athletes showcased their skills in kayaking and canoeing while carrying the Tricolor, further expressing their spirit of patriotism. Notable attendees included Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backwards Classes and Minorities Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, and Shri Ravindra Yati.
In his address, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav conveyed a message of patriotism and encouraged the players and citizens present on the occasion. He also expressed appreciation for the unique initiative conceptualized by the Sports Department.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Sarang highlighted the significance of the event, stating that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is being instilled with the spirit of the Tricolor. He emphasized the importance of honoring the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India's freedom.
The goal, as stated by the Chief Minister, is to ensure the Tricolor flies proudly everywhere—on water, land, and in the sky.
