In his address at a programme held on Saturday evening at Ravindra Bhavan premises for the unveiling of a handcrafted artistic portrait of Baba Nib Karori Maharaj, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the global impact of India's spiritual and knowledge traditions.
Dr. Yadav pointed out that nations worldwide have been inspired by these traditions, which continue to serve as a guiding force for humanity. He cited Swami Vivekananda as an example who demonstrated the richness of India's knowledge tradition before scholars around the world.
The Chief Minister noted that even during periods when material progress was not the primary measure of civilization, India's spiritual strength garnered global recognition and respect. He highlighted that Baba Nib Karori Maharaj, an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman, embodied the ideals of love, compassion, and selfless service.
Dr. Yadav also mentioned that those who came into contact with Baba Nib Karori Maharaj experienced transformative effects through his guidance and teachings.
The programme was attended by various dignitaries, including MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, former Union Minister Shri Suresh Pachouri, Shri Kailash Mishra, and Baba Nib Karori Maharaj's grandson, Dr. Dhananjay Sharma.
