Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid floral tributes to the late Gulsher Ahmed, former Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. During a media interaction, Yadav recalled Ahmed as a leader who believed in inclusivity, emphasizing that he always took everyone along. The Chief Minister highlighted Ahmed's life as an example of simplicity and humility. In addition, Dr. Yadav acknowledged that the proceedings of the Assembly, conducted under Ahmed's leadership from 1972 to 1977, continue to serve as a source of inspiration. The current Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, Narendra Singh Tomar, was also praised by Yadav for initiating the tradition of organizing floral tribute programmes in the Assembly to commemorate the birth and death anniversaries of former Chief Ministers and former Speakers of the House.
