Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a statewide campaign to provide free registration for residential and agricultural land to over 50 lakh rural residents under the Swamitva Yojana, during a Deepotsav ceremony on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed a Deepotsav ceremony at Ram Ghat in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. During his speech, he announced a statewide campaign to provide free registration to more than 50 lakh rural residents holding rights to residential and agricultural land under the Swamitva Yojana. This initiative aims to realize the Prime Minister's vision for various developmental projects.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the dedication and continuous work of Prime Minister Modi in public welfare and the country’s development over 25 years. He noted that the Prime Minister had not taken a single day’s leave during this period.
Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that the Prime Minister's birthday was being observed with the hope that the Deepotsav would dispel darkness from people’s lives and reiterated the Indian ethos of 'live for humanity and let others live.' He added that India was moving towards a new phase of development and progress under his leadership.
National President and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Nitin Nabin paid his respects to Ujjain and acknowledged Chief Minister Yadav's efforts to provide property rights through the Swamitva Yojana. He explained that this initiative was launched by Prime Minister Modi in 2020 and is now being implemented extensively across Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Nabin also highlighted some of the welfare initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Modi, such as providing housing for the poor and LPG connections under the Ujjwala Yojana. He emphasized that these measures have significantly impacted the lives of needy families.
Senior MLA and State President Shri Hemant Khandelwal congratulated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing the Deepotsav in Ujjain, appreciating the large turnout of people lighting diyas to greet Prime Minister Modi on his birthday.
