Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed a meeting of the District Development Advisory Committee in Tikamgarh under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, where he called for effective utilization of local potential to provide better employment opportunities.
The district's development action plan should incorporate local needs, available resources, traditional skills, innovations, and suggestions from public representatives and stakeholders. The goal is to transform these into opportunities for employment and economic activity.
Dr. Yadav encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of new industrial policies and credit-linked schemes and called for identifying successful local initiatives and innovations to further accelerate the district's economy.
The Chief Minister also emphasized promoting local art and craftsmanship, including brass idols, creating markets for their products, and connecting local talent with economic opportunities. He underscored the need to make animal husbandry a profitable livelihood by bringing more milk producers and cattle rearers into the cooperative sector and improving quality livestock in gaushalas.
The meeting discussed developing Tikamgarh's religious and tourism potential, with an emphasis on Kundeshwar Dham, promoting religious tourism, and linking local tourism activities with economic opportunities.
