The Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh has called for a transparent and satisfactory mechanism to ensure maximum benefits from government services, following a review of feedback from the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. The campaign aims to address grievances, improve citizen-centric services, and focus on law and order.
Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal has emphasized the need for a transparent and satisfactory mechanism for the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, an initiative aimed at ensuring citizens receive maximum benefits from government services and beneficiary-oriented schemes in Madhya Pradesh. During a meeting held at Mantralaya on Saturday, Mr. Barnwal reviewed feedback from Collectors, Commissioners, and Heads of Departments. He appreciated the work carried out by all officials and highlighted a remarkable achievement from a farmer engaged in blackberry cultivation who has generated employment for 500 people. The Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure 100 per cent resolution of complaints and grievances, assess the ground-level implementation of schemes and programs, and develop an effective monitoring mechanism. He also asked Collectors to focus on citizen-centric services such as health services, handpump functioning, tap-water supply schemes, transformer status, school enrolment, and ambulance availability.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi made a presentation on the key pillars of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. The campaign will focus on resolution of complaints and grievances, public dialogue, inspections, and law and order. He also briefed Collectors on arrangements to be made whenever Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visits a district.
Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Sudam Khade shared information related to the campaign, while Additional Secretary Shri Sudhir Kochar presented achievements recorded by various districts and departments under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.
