Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal addressing a meeting about the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal emphasizes the need for a transparent mechanism for the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, urging district officials to ensure 100% resolution of complaints and grievances and prioritize essential services.

Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal has emphasized the need for a transparent and satisfactory mechanism for the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, a campaign aimed at ensuring maximum benefits for citizens from government services and beneficiary-oriented schemes in Madhya Pradesh. During a meeting held at Mantralaya on Saturday, he reviewed feedback from Collectors, Commissioners, and Heads of Departments about the campaign's previous day's events.

The Chief Secretary appreciated the work done by all officials and highlighted the achievement of a farmer who has created employment for 500 people in blackberry cultivation. He emphasized the need to engage with such entrepreneurs and address their issues during the campaign. Barnwal directed officials to ensure 100% resolution of complaints and grievances, assess ground-level implementation of schemes and programs, and develop an effective monitoring mechanism to make administration more sensitive and responsive.

In addition, the Chief Secretary asked Collectors to prioritize essential services requiring continuous attention, including health services, handpump functioning, tap-water supply schemes, transformer status, school enrolment, and ambulance availability. He also reviewed initiatives such as Aadhaar Card, APAAR ID, and PARAKH.

During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Neeraj Mandloi made a presentation on the key pillars of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan and their implementation. He asked Collectors to work in accordance with the guidelines issued by the General Administration Department. He said the campaign will focus on resolution of complaints and grievances, public and enterprise dialogue, inspections, and law and order.
