Delhi Police has made elaborate arrangements for the BRICS Summit, deploying over 15 thousand personnel and 200 companies of paramilitary forces.
The Delhi Police is taking extensive measures to ensure maximum security for visiting dignitaries during the BRICS Summit 2026, scheduled from the 12th to 13th of this month at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. According to Special Commissioner of Police, Protective Security Division, Manish Kumar Agrawal, these arrangements have been coordinated with the Home Ministry and central agencies such as the Intelligence Bureau and National Security Guard. Around 15 thousand Delhi Police Personnel and 200 companies of paramilitary forces are being deployed in the national capital for security purposes. Additionally, specialized surveillance cameras have been set up along routes used by visiting dignitaries.
Agrawal emphasized that while these measures aim to provide maximum security, they will also strive to minimize inconvenience to the public.
