The Indian government, in collaboration with the Union Territory of Ladakh, has officially identified names for 28 places/features within the region. This move aims to facilitate accurate identification and improve awareness among the public.
The Government of India, in consultation with the Union Territory of Ladakh, has standardized names for a total of twenty-eight (28) places/features located in the UT of Ladakh on the official map of the Survey of India (SoI). This action is intended to facilitate their accurate recognition and better awareness among the public at large.
