The Department of Rural Development, under the Ministry of Rural Development, organized a One-Day Health Check-up Camp at Kartavya Bhavan, New Delhi, on October 22, 2026. The event was coordinated with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and attended by more than 250 staff members, including Safai Karamcharis. This initiative is part of Special Campaign 6.0, ongoing from October 2 to November 1, 2026. The focus of the camp was on outsourced staff, primarily Safai Karamcharis, with an aim to promote health awareness and preventive healthcare, and encourage regular health check-ups among employees.
The health services offered at the camp included Blood Pressure Monitoring, Random Blood Sugar (RBS) Testing, General Eye Check-up, General ENT Examination, and General Physician Consultation.
