Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel stressed the importance of quality education rooted in values as the foundation for social and national development. In a workshop organized under the National Education Policy 2020, he called upon educationists to focus on strengthening quality and value-based education for the country's youth.
The Governor highlighted that ensuring employment-oriented education for every student should be the highest priority of the education sector. He urged all universities and educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh to introduce more employment and skill-based courses, and establish placement mechanisms.
Furthermore, Governor Shri Patel emphasized the need for a drug-free youth, stating that it is a key responsibility of the education sector. He pointed out that India's youth are crucial in building a healthy and strong nation.
The workshop was organized by the Higher Education Department at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management. The Governor also congratulated the Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh Government for signing cooperation agreements with various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) to improve quality of higher education in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was present during the inauguration of the workshop.
