A woman biker in Gurugram was hit by a car and thrown off her bike. The collision was captured on an action camera mounted on the biker's bike, leading to the registration of a rash driving case by the local police.
The incident occurred on Golf Course Road in Gurugram when a woman biker, who runs the Instagram page ‘rebelwheels_sia_’, was hit by a car. The collision was recorded using an action camera mounted on her bike.
According to the biker's statement, persons in a white car had been chasing her for some distance before the incident occurred. Despite signalling to the driver to maintain a safe distance, the vehicle continued pursuing her and ultimately hit her. The biker also stated that she would file a complaint with the police.
The Gurugram Police have registered a suo moto case on charges of rash driving based on the video shared on social media. In the investigation, the police have identified the suspect and said they will make an arrest soon. The owner of the car, Manish, claimed that a friend, Kalyan Singh, had borrowed the vehicle from him two days ago.
The Station House Officer, Manoj Kumar, told The Print that they are investigating the matter and have reached out to the owner of the accused vehicle.
