The Indian Railways has introduced the daily Train No. 51673/51674 Itarsi-Madan Mahal Passenger service, marking a significant step towards strengthening rail connectivity across central Madhya Pradesh.
In a move aimed at enhancing regional connectivity, the Indian Railways has approved the introduction of the daily Train No. 51673/51674 Itarsi-Madan Mahal Passenger service. This new passenger service will provide affordable and daily access to intermediate towns and smaller stations of the Jabalpur–Narmadapuram belt, connecting two major railway nodes, Jabalpur and Itarsi.
The Itarsi-bound Train No. 51673 is scheduled to depart from Itarsi Junction at 11:40 hrs, arriving at Madan Mahal at 16:45 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 51674 Madan Mahal-Itarsi Passenger will leave Madan Mahal at 17:50 hrs and reach Itarsi Junction at 22:55 hrs.
The daily passenger service covers a distance of 242 km in approximately 5 hours and 5 minutes, with commercial stoppages at Bagra Tawa, Sohagpur, Pipariya, Bankhedi, Salichauka Road, Gadarwara, Kareli, Narsinghpur and Sridham.
