The Ministry of MSME's Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar, successfully conducted a four-week Summer Internship Training Programme in May-June 2026 for 8,083 engineering students across the country and two international students from Sudan and Yemen.
The Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), successfully conducted a four-week Summer Internship Training Programme during May and June 2026. This programme provided industry-oriented, hands-on training to 8,083 engineering students from 22 States and Union Territories across India, including 26 international students from Sudan and Yemen.
The programme was designed to sharpen the employability and technical competence of India's youth. Engineering students from first year to final year participated in the training programme, which stands as a proud reaffirmation of CTTC Bhubaneswar's role as a premier institution for offering structured and industry-oriented training.
The programme spanned disciplines as varied as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, and Computer Science. It also focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI – ML), Cloud Computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Additive Manufacturing. Each four-week course was designed to provide intensive hands-on training, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial practice.
