India has proposed a comprehensive solution to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that India's proposal to resolve the ongoing conflict with Russia is the 'most comprehensive' and broad. This statement was reported by RBC-Ukraine. Sybiha emphasized that this marks the first time India has signaled its readiness to play a role in resolving the crisis.
Sybiha also mentioned that Ukraine has received proposals from Egypt, Turkey, and the United States regarding the conflict. The Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began in February 2022, has been the deadliest Europe has seen since World War II.
Ukraine is reportedly prepared to agree to an energy and agricultural truce in the Black Sea. However, any such truce must include a cessation of attacks on all power infrastructure, including facilities at ports, according to Sybiha. In recent months, several vessels, including those with Indians on board, have been struck in the Black Sea.
Sybiha additionally mentioned that Kyiv is considering an unconditional ceasefire along the frontline with Russia.
