Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered oath to 19 legislators, increasing Karnataka's cabinet size to 33 members. The ceremony marked the induction of Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and his team. However, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was absent.

On June 30, at Lok Bhavan in Bengaluru, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath of office to 19 legislators, expanding the cabinet of Karnataka. This ceremony marked the induction of Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and his team, who had been waiting for approximately two months following their appointment on June 3rd.

Among those sworn in were 13 ministers. However, not all anticipated legislators were present. The only woman legislator announced by All India Congress Committee Gayathri Shanthegowda was not sworn in today, and Mankala Vaidya was replaced by S S Mallikarjuna at the last moment.

Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was conspicuously absent during this ceremony. Reacting to a few legislators expressing disappointment for not making it to the Cabinet, Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has said that it is not possible to accommodate everyone and assured them of opportunities in the future.
