The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, H.E. Mrs. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, visited India on August 13, 2026, for bilateral discussions with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
On August 13, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, H.E. Mrs. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, undertook an official visit to India for bilateral talks with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar in New Delhi. The discussions covered a broad spectrum of India-Liberia relations, including technology, agriculture, health, mining, energy, trade and investment, education, capacity building, and people-to-people exchanges. The ministers also shared views on regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
Minister Jaishankar congratulated his Liberian counterpart on the inauguration and opening of the Embassy of Liberia in New Delhi that day. Additionally, they discussed deepening cooperation at multilateral fora to promote peace, development, and a strengthened voice of the Global South.
In this context, they also spoke about the importance of reformed multilateralism, including a reformed United Nations Security Council.
