Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav outlines measures to ensure adequate irrigation, timely procurement of crops at minimum support price, food processing initiatives, power provision for irrigation, and promotion of animal husbandry and dairy development in Khandwa district.
During an interaction with farmer representatives from Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the State Government's commitment to ensuring every farmer's field receives adequate water for sufficient irrigation. He stated that all necessary steps have been taken for farmers' prosperity during Krishak Kalyan Varsh and these efforts will continue uninterrupted.
The CM further mentioned that measures have been implemented to guarantee timely procurement of wheat from farmers at the minimum support price and timely payment for other crops. Additionally, he highlighted initiatives towards benefiting farmers from food processing activities, power provision for irrigation, and promoting poultry farming, animal husbandry, and dairy development.
Furthermore, Dr. Yadav stated that arrangements have been made for the development of the Narmada Parikrama Path in Khandwa district, with facilities also being developed at Dada Dhuni and other religious sites. The farmers of the Khandwa region expressed their gratitude to the CM for decisions taken towards farmer welfare.
