Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has recognized the organ donation by Smt. Bilash Tanti Sharma (Shivani), a resident of Khapa Khurd village in Bankhedi, Narmadapuram district. Following a road accident that led to her brain-death, her family made the decision to donate her organs, saving the lives of three individuals at AIIMS, Bhopal.
In his message, Dr. Yadav commended the family for their act of humanity, sensitivity, and altruism during this difficult time. The mortal remains of late Shivani received a Guard of Honour by Madhya Pradesh Police in her native village.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that this initiative has increased awareness about organ donation and is bringing about positive change in rural areas. He emphasized that such actions set an example for everyone, inspiring sensitivity towards the noble act of saving lives in society.
Furthermore, Dr. Yadav stated that Awareness about Organ Donation is also Growing in Rural Areas as a result of initiatives like this one. The growing sensitivity towards this life-saving act can be seen as a positive change in rural areas.
