Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressing a gathering

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announces plans for promotion of stagnant officers and fresh recruitment drives across various departments in Madhya Pradesh.

In a significant move aimed at improving governance and public welfare, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav declared that the state government has initiated steps to ensure the promotion of long-pending officer promotions in Madhya Pradesh. According to the statement made at a felicitation ceremony held at the FDDI Auditorium in Chhindwara on Friday, the remaining officers and employees will be promoted by September-October this year.

The Chief Minister also announced a fresh recruitment drive for over 17,000 posts across various departments. The Police Department alone is filling more than 18,000 posts, including 1,000 for drivers. The recruitment process for over 10,000 school teacher posts has been completed, and more than 7,000 lecturers have been recruited for higher education.

The state government's commitment to welfare of all sections, including the poor, farmers, youth, and women, was emphasized by Dr. Yadav. He highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, people from all sections of society are benefiting from public welfare schemes.

In a bid to improve governance and public welfare, the state government has decided that no meetings will be held in any office on Fridays. Instead, all officials will engage with the people to review the implementation of government schemes at the field level. This initiative is part of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan campaign, which aims to resolve issues faced by citizens and ensure the successful implementation of government programs.
