In a significant move, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the promotion of state employees and fresh recruitment for over 17,000 posts across various departments.

Addressing a gathering at the FDDI Auditorium in Chhindwara on Friday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the Madhya Pradesh government's commitment to the welfare of all sections of society. He spoke about the benefits of public welfare schemes during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure and India's global reputation.

Promotion of government officers and employees in the state had remained pending for years. Dr. Yadav announced that the state government took the initiative to ensure timely promotion of employees, with the remaining officers and employees expected to be promoted in September-October this year.

In addition, he revealed that the state government has started fresh recruitment for over 17,000 posts across various departments. More than 18,000 posts are being filled in the Police Department alone, including 1,000 posts for drivers. The process for more than 10,000 school teacher posts and over 7,000 lecturer posts has been completed.

Dr. Yadav also emphasized the crucial role played by state officers and employees in successfully implementing government work on the ground and establishing good governance.

He further stated that the state government is working with a long-term vision for development and public welfare. A new beginning is being made from Chhindwara today, where it has been decided that no meeting will be held in any office on Fridays. All officials will remain among the people and review the implementation of government schemes and programs at the field level.
