Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the third meeting of the Apex Monitoring Authority and emphasized Madhya Pradesh's industrial progress, investment opportunities, and major initiatives.
On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the third meeting of the Apex Monitoring Authority of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) in New Delhi. Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Shri Ashok Kumar Lahiri, along with Chief Ministers, Industry Ministers, and senior officials from various states were present at the meeting.
Dr. Yadav expressed his gratitude to the Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, Industry Ministers, and senior officials for their participation. He considered it a matter of pride and happiness to represent Madhya Pradesh at this national platform. The Chief Minister acknowledged that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, industrial development in India has gained a new direction, with Madhya Pradesh making significant progress in this area.
Dr. Yadav emphasized the State's advancements in the industry and investment sectors, creating an attractive environment that has earned the confidence of industries. This growing confidence is drawing numerous investors to Madhya Pradesh. He reiterated the State Government's efforts to provide better infrastructure, simplified processes, and a conducive environment for swift implementation of investment proposals.
The Chief Minister spoke about several major initiatives proposed to boost industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. He particularly referred to the PM MITRA Park, whose foundation stone was laid on September 17, 2025, during Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's birthday. The project aims to provide a fresh impetus to the textile sector and offer vast opportunities for farmers, youth, and industries.
Dr. Yadav highlighted the focus on grounding nearly 30% of the investment proposals received at the Global Investors Summit (GIS), reflecting growing investor confidence in Madhya Pradesh's policies and the government's approach to facilitating investments.
The Chief Minister also underscored Madhya Pradesh's vast investment potential in sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, energy, logistics, agro-based industries, and MSMEs. The government aims to ensure that these investments contribute not only to capital formation but also to employment generation, skill development, and expansion of economic activity at the local level.
Madhya Pradesh is committed to further strengthening its position among the country's leading states in investment, industrial development, and employment generation. With coordinated efforts by the Central Government under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership and Madhya Pradesh's State Government, the state will make an even greater contribution to the country's industrial development in the years ahead.
