Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Madhya Pradesh is organizing special BLC camps to provide eligible urban beneficiaries with information and expedite housing approvals. The state has set a target of approving 30,000 new houses by October 17, 2026.
Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Madhya Pradesh is conducting a special drive from September 17 to October 17, 2026, with the aim of providing pucca houses to eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0. The state has set a target of approving 30,000 new houses in urban areas by October 17.
Special BLC (Beneficiary Led Construction) camps are being organized across urban local bodies to achieve this target within the stipulated period. These camps will provide eligible beneficiaries with information on the scheme, eligibility criteria, and required documents while facilitating a simpler and faster housing approval process.
Commissioner, Urban Development and Housing Department, Shri Sanket Bhondve, has directed all urban local bodies to achieve their targets within the stipulated timeframe. Under the campaign, a minimum target of 50 new housing approvals for Nagar Parishads, 100 for Nagar Palikas, and 500 for Municipal Corporations has been set.
In addition, Shri Bhondve directed officials to connect as many eligible families as possible with PMAY (Urban) 2.0 through BLC camps. He also instructed them to ensure 100% and timely disbursement of the first and second instalments to eligible beneficiaries of houses already approved, so that construction work can be expedited and financial assistance reaches beneficiaries without delay.
Through the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the state government aims to extend the benefit of pucca housing to every eligible family in urban areas and make implementation of the scheme more transparent and comprehensive.
