Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will launch a series of social, cultural and religious activities to commemorate the 650th Jayanti of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj. The events will include Kalash Rath Yatra, Samarasata Sankalp ceremonies, and Sant Sampark Programme.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will launch the state-wide Samarasata Sankalp Abhiyan and Kalash Yatra on August 17 at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal, to commemorate the 650th Jayanti of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Maharaj. The campaign aims to take his life philosophy and messages of equality, devotion, service, social justice, and humanity to the people. Kalash Vandan and Samman ceremonies will be organised at all district headquarters on August 20, followed by a Kalash Rath Yatra in every district from August 20 to September 10. Various religious and cultural programmes will be held at local temples across the state during this period. The Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Samarasata Yatra is scheduled from October 5 to November 5, starting from Dera Sachkhand Ballan in Jalandhar. The Sant Sampark Programme will brief saints and gurus on the campaign's objectives and activities and invite them to participate in various social harmony programmes from August 18 to 31.
