Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlights Madhya Pradesh's rapid advancement in renewable energy, supplying power to eight states including the Indian Railways, and the introduction of dedicated policies on renewable energy, pumped hydro energy storage, and biomass.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during an interaction with media representatives following the International Renewable Energy Conference in New Delhi, asserted that Madhya Pradesh is making the fastest progress in green energy. The State has been continuously expanding its solar and wind energy generation capacity with sustained efforts underway to ensure round-the-clock renewable energy production. This progress, set to gain global recognition, is expected to significantly contribute to India's green energy goals and energy security. In a message posted on social media platform X, Chief Minister Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is currently supplying electricity to eight states, including the Indian Railways, positioning it as a key contributor of green energy.

Over the past two years, the State Government has introduced dedicated policies on renewable energy, pumped hydro energy storage, and biomass, providing fresh momentum to investment and innovation. Notably, the Agar-Shajapur-Neemuch Solar Project achieved a record-low solar tariff of ₹2.14 per unit, one of the lowest in the country.

Participating in the 7th International Renewable Energy Conference & Exhibition in New Delhi alongside Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi on Thursday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav showcased Madhya Pradesh's green energy model, investment-friendly policies, and remarkable progress in the clean energy sector before national and international stakeholders.
