Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend a state-level Engineers' Day function organized by the Public Works Department in Bhopal, where various awards will be presented to recognize exceptional engineering work in quality and timely construction, technological innovation, environmental conservation, and public-oriented infrastructure development.
The Public Works Department of Madhya Pradesh has announced a state-level Engineers' Day function that will take place on September 15 at the Kushabhau International Convention Centre in Bhopal. The Chief Guest for this event will be Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh attending as the Special Guest.
The theme for this function is 'Lok Nirman Se Lok Kalyan'. Its purpose is to honor engineers, officers, joint teams, and construction agencies for their outstanding work and significant contributions in infrastructure development through the 'Lok Nirman Awards'.
After thorough evaluation of proposals from the Public Works Department, Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation, and Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation, selected works will be awarded the Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya Award, Vishwakarma Award, Vikramaditya Award, Rani Durgavati Environment-Friendly Award, and Raja Bhoj Award. These awards aim to encourage engineers and construction agencies that have set outstanding examples in quality and timely construction, technological innovation, environmental conservation, and development of public-oriented infrastructure.
The function aims to recognize exemplary engineering work in the state and further strengthen a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation in the construction sector.
