The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (Ayush) will host the 11th Ayurveda Day in Nagpur today. The event, themed 'Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow,' will take place at the Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium from 9 to 10 AM.
Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur, has shared that this year's Ayurveda Day will emphasize strengthening Ayurveda through evidence, research, and innovation, while promoting community health and well-being.
Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin, Director of the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi, will address a scientific session on 'Integrating Therapies is needed to reduce NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Burden by 2027.' Subsequently, Dr. Geeta Krishnan Pillai, Unit Head of the Global Traditional Medicine Centre in Jamnagar, will speak on 'Shashwatam to Vishwas – Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow and the Road to 2047'.
