The National Handloom Development Corporation Limited (NHDC) has made significant contributions to Special Campaign 6 by organizing cleanliness drives, tree plantation, essay competitions and more.

The Ministry of Textiles is actively implementing Special Campaign 6 across its subordinate offices, attached organizations, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This campaign focuses on cleanliness, effective space management, disposal of obsolete materials, and promoting a culture of cleanliness and environmental responsibility. The National Handloom Development Corporation Limited (NHDC), Noida, has made significant contributions through various activities from October 2 to October 23, 2026.

As part of the campaign, NHDC organized cleanliness drives in residential areas and public spaces, removed accumulated waste and unwanted materials from office premises, and ensured the cleaning and maintenance of drains and water tanks. Old, broken, and unused items were identified and removed to improve workplace organization and utilization of available space.

On October 8, 2026, an essay competition was organized in the office with the objective of promoting awareness regarding cleanliness and the importance of a clean working environment. A tree plantation drive—‘A Tree in Mother’s Name’—was conducted by the Managing Director on the office premises on October 9, 2026.

The initiatives undertaken by NHDC exemplify the broader efforts of the Ministry of Textiles and its subordinate organizations towards achieving the objectives of Special Campaign 6. Through sustained cleanliness drives, awareness programs, improved workplace management, and active community engagement, the Ministry continues to promote efficient, clean, and sustainable government workplaces.
