The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has launched the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, a youth engagement initiative aimed at encouraging young citizens to share ideas towards India's development.
On September 10, 2026, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), launched the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027. This nationwide youth engagement initiative encourages young citizens to share their ideas and perspectives towards the vision of Viksit Bharat. The initiative was announced in Goa by Director, MY Bharat Goa, Shri G. S. Raghav, along with Assistant Director, Shri Samyek Meshram. They urged the youth of Goa to participate in the first stage of VBYLD 2027, the Viksit Bharat Quiz, which is open from August 17 to September 30, 2026 through the MY Bharat portal.
The online quiz will assess the knowledge, leadership skills, innovative thinking, and ideas of participants for India's development. Youth who qualify will progress through subsequent stages of the programme. The second stage, the Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge, will be held from October 5 to 19, 2026, followed by the District Championship from November 10 to 16, 2026.
The fourth stage involves presentation of selected ideas before a jury at the State/UT level, followed by the national round scheduled from November 17 to December 7, 2026. The National VBYLD 2027 will be held in New Delhi from January 10 to 12, 2027, where selected youth will get an opportunity to present their ideas and regional finalists will present before the Prime Minister.
