Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the launch of 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan', emphasizing its importance in achieving a physically and mentally healthy, self-confident younger generation free from destructive habits like drugs. The campaign is supported by over 125 spiritual organizations and numerous NGOs.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today launched ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’, a nationwide initiative aimed at creating a drug-free youth to contribute towards building a developed India.

In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized the collective weight of the moment, framing it as a profound national commitment. He highlighted that the campaign transcends individual wellness, serving the broader interests of families, society, and the entire nation. The core objective behind the 'Drug-Free Youth for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan' is to achieve a physically healthy, mentally robust, and highly confident younger generation free from self-destructive habits.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that the initiative, which was initially launched as a pilot project from the sacred land of Kashi the previous year, has now successfully expanded into a National project with support from over 125 spiritual organizations and numerous NGOs under the Kashi Declaration.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, noted that the launch marks another significant milestone in the journey towards realizing the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. He highlighted the Government's establishment of MY Bharat as a single-window platform to provide young people with opportunities for volunteering, leadership, mentorship, and national service.

The campaign includes an ambitious 100-week roadmap featuring dedicated activities spanning art, culture, sports, and meditation to engage new participants. The Prime Minister expressed confidence in the campaign's ability to inspire millions of young Indians to contribute towards building a healthy, drug-free, and developed India.
