Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat accuses foreign forces of attempting to destabilize India, while a mosque near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence receives an eviction notice.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has raised concerns over 'demonic forces' from the West allegedly attempting to 'destabilise India'. The RSS, being the parent organisation of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, asserts that any attempt at regime change in India will not succeed and would not address fundamental issues.
Bhagwat further claimed, 'A storm has swept in from the West to destroy all that is decent, auspicious, and rooted in cultural and human values.' He added that even developed nations are afflicted by this storm.
Separately, a heritage mosque near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official residence in New Delhi has been issued an eviction notice by the Ministry of Housing. The Race Course mosque, listed as a heritage property on the New Delhi Municipal Council's website, stands on government land and is deemed 'unauthorised'. The mosque authorities have been directed to vacate the premises within six days, and electricity and water supply have been disconnected.
