Manipur Police and CRPF's Quick Action Team arrested 17 individuals and seized firearms during a joint operation at Sinai Camp. The security forces acted after three civilians were killed by armed miscreants.
In a significant development, the Manipur State Police, in collaboration with the Quick Action Team of CRPF and CoBRA, conducted a joint operation at Kuki Militant Camp- Sinai Camp. The operation resulted in the arrest of 17 individuals, who have been remanded to eight days of police custody.
During the search operation, the security forces seized 24 firearms, 38 magazines, a substantial amount of ammunition, explosives, wireless communication equipment, and other combat gears. The arrests and seizures were made in response to a recent incident where three civilians were killed by armed miscreants near Sinai Camp.
