Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav invites investments in Madhya Pradesh, as Shyam Steel & Power Limited plans to expand with a proposed investment of ₹1,000 crore.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the state's continuous progress in all sectors, attributing this to the contributions of industrialists and investors. During a meeting with officials from Shyam Steel & Power Limited on Tuesday, he welcomed any investor seeking opportunities in 'a prosperous India'. The company's Joint Managing Director, Sanjay Agrawal, and Chief Operating Officer, Deepak Kumar Gaur, briefed the Chief Minister about their upcoming projects. Currently, Shyam Steel & Power Limited has invested ₹550 crore in its Pithampur manufacturing unit, employing 1,300 people. The company intends to establish a second manufacturing unit at Pithampur with an investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore, aiming to create employment for over 1,000 more individuals. To accommodate the expansion, the company has requested additional land at Pithampur. Principal Secretary Raghvendra Kumar Singh informed that the State Government's new industrial policies have been communicated to the company and that they have already been allotted 25 acres of land for the project. However, the company requires further land for its expansion needs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the Principal Secretary to find a solution facilitating the company's proposed expansion.
