The Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Kiren Rijiju, has accused the opposition parties of not allowing a discussion on the NEET paper leak issue despite the government's assurance. In a statement made at Parliament premises, he clarified that the government has accepted the demand for a discussion but is being met with new conditions from the opposition. He added that Congress can also voice its demands during the proposed discussion. The persistent protests by the opposition over various issues, including the NEET paper leak case, have led to the adjournment of the Lok Sabha for the day. When the Lok Sabha reconvened after the second adjournment at 2:00 PM, opposition members resumed sloganeering, ultimately forcing the chair to adjourn the House for the remainder of the day. The Rajya Sabha has also been adjourned till 3:00 PM due to similar protests.
