Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that preparations are underway for Simhastha 2028, which he described as one of the world’s largest religious gatherings. The event is expected to attract over 40 crore devotees to Ujjain and will serve as a test of management capabilities and good governance. In a special seminar held at his residence on Wednesday, Dr. Yadav addressed office-bearers and guides of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, an organization with a long history of service during Simhasthas in Ujjain. He highlighted the importance of training master trainers, Sevaduts, and volunteers for crowd management and other services. Until an advanced training centre is established in Bhopal, Sandipani School buildings and campuses will be used for training as required. Dr. Yadav emphasized the core principle of Bharat Scouts and Guides – service – and its motto ‘Be Prepared’. He expressed commitment to ensuring a safe and well-organized Simhastha 2028, acknowledging the organization’s capabilities and dedication during previous Simhasthas. He called upon volunteers to remain prepared to serve and respond to any challenge or emergency.
