Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expresses condolences, offers financial assistance, and closely monitors treatment of the two surviving newborn babies following a fire at Chhindwara District Hospital's SNCU.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of one of the three newborn babies who sustained burn injuries in a fire incident at the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of Chhindwara District Hospital. The infant passed away while undergoing treatment at Jabalpur Medical College. In response, Dr. Yadav announced a financial aid of INR 4 lakh to the family of the deceased girl. He also stated that the state government will cover the entire cost of treatment for the two children still receiving care at Jabalpur Medical College. On the Chief Minister’s instructions, officials of the Chhindwara district administration are in continuous contact with the Dean of Jabalpur Medical College and are closely monitoring the treatment and condition of both children.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav prayed to God to give the bereaved family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
