The Delhi Health Minister conducted a review of hospital preparations and health department readiness amid the increasing number of H1N1 cases in Delhi, with over 2000 cases reported so far.
Delhi Health Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh reviewed the preparedness of hospitals and the Health Department in light of the growing number of H1N1 cases in Delhi. As many as 166 new cases were reported within the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 2,612. The minister inspected the special H1N1 isolation ward, assessed arrangements for patient treatment and care, interacted with medical personnel, and ensured the availability of essential medical infrastructure such as beds, oxygen, medicines, testing facilities, and fluids.
The Minister stated that he is closely monitoring preparedness across Delhi Government hospitals to ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
