Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has launched a campaign for creating Farmer IDs under the Digital Agriculture Mission, following the nationwide digital revolution led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a digital revolution has brought significant changes in governance and service delivery across various sectors since August 20. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has initiated this transformation in the agricultural sector by launching a Farmer ID campaign as part of the Digital Agriculture Mission.
Government teams are visiting farmers across the state to create their Farmer IDs, similar to Aadhaar cards. These digital identities will provide farmers with access to agriculture-related information and services efficiently.
Dr. Yadav has appealed to all farmers to cooperate and get their Farmer IDs made as part of this farmer-centric initiative. He also highlighted that the state government has created a prosperous digital environment in finance, healthcare, and education, aiming to bring similar changes to agriculture.
The Digital Agriculture Mission includes the implementation of a Digital Crop Estimation Survey and large-scale adoption of digital initiatives by Central and State Governments, as well as academic and research institutions associated with agriculture.
