The Madhya Pradesh government has launched an initiative to enhance the agricultural sector through various digital means. The focus includes providing farmers with digital agricultural services, online farm advisories, smart irrigation systems, and access to modern farming equipment. This move is aimed at promoting productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector.
According to the announcement made by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh during the Balram Krishi Mahotsav, the state government will be implementing six main agricultural policies. These include promoting organic and traditional farming practices, improving water management, expanding digital agricultural services, increasing crop diversity and market value, encouraging farmer cooperatives, and implementing pro-farmer welfare schemes.
This initiative is part of a larger goal to boost farmers' income and provide them with modern tools for agriculture. The state government has also prepared a roadmap for the implementation of these policies, which will be executed across all districts of Madhya Pradesh by November 13.
The Chief Minister's announcement also highlighted the importance of drone technology in agriculture, smart irrigation systems, and the need to adapt farming practices according to changing weather conditions. The state government is planning to provide farmers with digital agricultural services, online farm advisories, and access to modern farming equipment to increase productivity and efficiency.
