The Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development has been acknowledged as one of the top three States and Union Territories in North India for its contribution to Mission Karmayogi, a National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh congratulated Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir for their contributions to capacity building under Mission Karmayogi. He also applauded the efforts of other States and Union Territories in promoting citizen-centric and future-ready civil services.
Mission Karmayogi is a government initiative aimed at enhancing public service delivery through continuous learning, role-based training, and skill development for government officials. The Sadhana Series workshops offer a platform for States and Union Territories to bolster training institutions, improve governance, and promote digital learning via platforms such as iGOT Karmayogi and UNNATI.
This recognition signifies Jammu and Kashmir's commitment to strengthening civil service capacity and promoting responsive, efficient, and citizen-centric governance in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
