Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extends congratulations to Ms. Pragya Baghel on her re-election and wishes her success for the tenure.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in a message, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Pragya Baghel, daughter of Madhya Pradesh, on being re-elected as Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He also wished her a successful and bright tenure. The Chief Minister further noted that Ms. Baghel had brought pride to the state by becoming the first advocate from Madhya Pradesh to be re-elected to this position.
The elections for the post of Secretary in the Supreme Court Bar Association office-bearers’ were held in New Delhi on August 18, 2026. Ms. Baghel, an advocate from Madhya Pradesh who practices in the Supreme Court, won the election. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Baghel is the daughter of retired IAS officer Shri L.S. Baghel, a resident of Rampur Baghelan (Bamhori) in Satna district.
After completing her schooling at Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior, Ms. Pragya earned her B.A. LL.B. degree from the prestigious ILS Law College, Pune, in 2002. She subsequently began practicing in the Supreme Court and continues to practice independently.
