The Madhya Pradesh government is organizing a stakeholder consultation roundtable to strategize the implementation of its logistics policy and plan-2025, with an aim to position the state as a key hub for India's logistics sector.
In a strategic move to bolster Madhya Pradesh's standing as one of India's premier logistics and warehousing hubs, the State Government is organizing a Stakeholder Consultation Roundtable on Logistics, scheduled for July 29, 2026, at the New Madhya Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi. This meeting will convene industry leaders, logistics companies, investors, and policymakers to discuss the successful execution of the Madhya Pradesh Logistics Policy and Plan-2025.
Owing to its strategic central location, robust road, rail, and air connectivity, and investor-friendly policies, Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as one of the country's most attractive destinations for logistics and warehousing investments. The State Government aims to establish Madhya Pradesh as a key hub for pan-India distribution networks.
The state offers an extensive road network spanning over 500,000 kilometres, more than 46 National Highways, eight operational airports, an extensive railway network, and rapidly expanding logistics infrastructure. Special emphasis is being placed on developing Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs), Inland Container Depots (ICDs), and state-of-the-art warehousing facilities to support future growth.
Madhya Pradesh currently has a warehousing capacity of 40 million metric tonnes, a cold storage capacity of 13.2 million metric tonnes, along with surplus storage capacity. The strong presence of leading logistics companies such as Adani Logistics, Allcargo, TCI, and FSC reflects growing investor confidence in the state's logistics ecosystem.
With investor-friendly policies, robust infrastructure, attractive incentives, and an enabling business environment, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as an ideal destination for investment in the logistics and warehousing sector. The proposed Multi-Modal Logistics Parks in Indore and Bhopal are expected to further accelerate the sector's growth.
