In a statement made at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi before his overseas visit on Sunday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed deep concern over the reported deaths following alcohol consumption in the Banda-Shahgarh area of Sagar district. The Chief Minister directed the Minister-in-Charge of Sagar district and officials to immediately investigate the incident. He further stated that no guilty person would be spared after the investigation. Dr. Yadav emphasized the need for the strictest possible action against those found responsible.
In addition, he highlighted that this incident is extremely unfortunate and has been deeply distressing.
