Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav encourages industrial development, promotes local businesses, and proposes religious tourism initiatives during an interaction under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of industrial development in Tikamgarh, stating that the state government is continuously working to promote this sector. He acknowledged that Tikamgarh district has ample resources for industrial growth and urged entrepreneurs to convert them into opportunities. The Chief Minister promoted businesses and industries run by local entrepreneurs as a priority.
During the interaction under the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, it was revealed that the government is providing basic facilities such as uninterrupted power supply, infrastructure, and essential amenities for industrial development in Tikamgarh. The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for improved connectivity between Jhansi, Jatara, and Tikamgarh to strengthen the district’s links with other states.
In addition to industrial growth, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav encouraged entrepreneurs to explore new avenues like setting up hotels, homestays, and industrial parks to benefit from subsidies provided by the state government. He acknowledged Tikamgarh's potential for religious tourism and proposed developing Kundeshwar Dham on the lines of Mahakal Lok.
A ₹1.99-crore plan has been proposed to promote the traditional bell-metal and brass craft of Dharampur in Tikamgarh district, which the Chief Minister encouraged linking with modern infrastructure, artisan empowerment, employment generation, and market expansion.
Entrepreneurs offered suggestions for promoting tourism in the region, including developing Orchha, Khajuraho, and Tikamgarh as major tourist destinations. They also requested road connectivity for proposed industrial units and seed production projects.
