The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has made significant progress in Special Campaign 6, with over 80% completion in addressing public grievances, and targets met or surpassed for cleanliness activities, e-file reviews, physical file reviews, and revenue generation.

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) alongwith its Central Public Sector Enterprises and Organisations, guided by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG2), has embarked on Special Campaign 6 with renewed focus on timely disposal of E-waste/Scrap and ensuring Swachhata across its offices and installations. All the organisations of MoPNG have been instructed to actively participate in the Campaign, with a focus on resolving grievances on time, adopting best practices in record management and cleanliness, and using social media effectively for wider outreach.

Under Special Campaign 6, the Ministry has conducted cleanliness activities at 126 sites against a target of 148 sites. An area of 2.22 lakh square feet has been freed against the target of 1.15 lakh square feet. Revenue generation through the campaign has reached ₹34.64 crore against the target of ₹41 crore.

In terms of public service delivery, 6,006 public grievances out of the target of 7,500 have been addressed, representing 80.10% progress. The Ministry has completed the review of all 5,593 physical files identified for review and has put up all 712 e-files for review. The Ministry has also achieved 100% completion in the disposal of 500 public grievance appeals.

Progress of the Campaign will be closely monitored and uploaded on the dedicated web portal launched by DARPG on regular basis.
