
Pralhad Joshi takes over as the Education Minister in addition to his existing roles; Dharmendra Pradhan resigns from Union Council of Ministers.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has been appointed as the new Education Minister following the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. According to Akashvani News, President Droupadi Murmu has accepted Pradhan's resignation from the Union Council of Ministers with immediate effect. In his new role, Mr Joshi will manage the Ministry of Education in addition to his existing portfolios as the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy.
In a separate development, it is noteworthy that Mr Joshi's other ministerial roles remain unchanged. This means he will continue to oversee the departments of consumer affairs, food distribution, and renewable energy in addition to his new role as Education Minister.
