Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth on September 19 via video conferencing. The event marks the culmination of a series of recruitment drives undertaken by various Ministries and Departments.
On September 19, 2026 at 12:30 PM, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth in various Government Organisations during the 20th Rozgar Mela. This event will be conducted via video conferencing. The Prime Minister will also address the newly selected candidates on the occasion.
The Rozgar Mela will take place at 45 locations across the country, marking the culmination of a series of recruitment drives undertaken by various Ministries and Departments including Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Defence among others. The 20th Rozgar Mela will bring the total number of appointment letters distributed to about 12.75 lakh youth in various Departments and Government Organisations.
The Rozgar Mela underscores the government's continued commitment to creating employment opportunities for the youth and encouraging their greater participation in the country’s development journey.
